We are conducting a search for an AMI-trained Montessori guide to lead one of our primary communities. Through your efforts, children will fulfill their developmental potential with authentically prepared, exceptionally executed Montessori.

Discovery is a collaboration between Xplor Education and a leading Southern California aerospace company to form an innovative Montessori community for children of our collaborator’s employees. Discovery’s beautiful facility is located in Hawthorne, California, near the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and El Segundo Boulevard.

Invitation to Apply

We encourage you to apply if you:

• Have earned an AMI primary diploma;
• Are experienced working with children aged 2½ - 6 years old;
• Will comply with the company's mandatory COVID vaccination policy; and
• Are a US citizen or green card holder.

We would prefer you over other candidates if you:

• Live in Southern California;
• Have earned bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees in any subject;
• Have three or more years’ experience as a Montessori guide;
• Are a fluent Spanish speaker; and/or
• Have interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences.
